Int. convention 2023

The International Convention 2023... the global gathering of the Red Knights! We also registered for it with several members and set off together on Friday towards Fußach, Austria.

Shortly before Austria, the highway was slowly filling up with Red Knights! What a sight! Once there, we registered on site and received our T-shirts, coins and badges. Then we went to the hotel to check-in. After a short break to freshen up, we were taken to the event site with organized bus shuttles for dinner and an official welcome with other chapters. At the end of the first day there was a great party with lots of nice conversations with other brothers from all over the world! ​

 

The second day of the convention was dominated by motorcycling! For us it was time to head to the mountains! At 8 a.m., after a hearty breakfast, we set off towards the Silvretta High Alpine Road and then crossed the European watershed at the Flexen Pass. We went back via St. Anton, Arlbergpass, Mellau and Dornbirn. After we changed briefly at the hotel, we went to the official “gala dinner” where the International Convention 2023 was ceremoniously held. We were informed about innovations and current topics, got an insight into future plans and remembered our deceased brothers and sisters in the classic American way with a memorial ceremony that brought tears to the eyes of even the toughest of us. ​

 

On Sunday it was time to go home again. After a wonderful weekend full of memories, international conversations, new brothers and sisters and wonderful camaraderie, we headed home after breakfast around 9 a.m. ​
